For Masechet Bava Metzia 57a, part II, & 57b we will study the great debate re: אונאה in the case of חילול הקדש. Does the Torah require that he make up the difference? What if the discrepancy was one-sixth? What if more or less than one-sixth? Does the prohibition of Ribbis apply to Hekdesh. The case is where a seller is given the funds of Hekdesh up front & will purchase flour for the Minachot at the higher market rate & Hekdesh makes a profit. We will learn about the exclusions of real estate & an Eved or a Shtar from the penalties of a thief or the oath on these items.
