For Masechet Bava Kamma 109a we will study the issue: Is there מחילה on השבת הגזילה? Is this a debate between R' Yossi & R" Akiva? Or perhaps the issue is a different one, namely, what if the נגזל and the גזלן are one and the same. How could that be? If the גזלן is also the heir (יורש) of the נגזל and the latter died, the monies paid by the thief now belong to the ירושה, but the גזלן himself is the יורש. Can the latter wipe off (מחילה) the debt to himself?
