Description
Hilchos Pesach: where the chometz is located it's Pesach, but where the owner is located it is not. Note: there is a confusion in the audience regarding the details of the reality described by the Oneg Yom Tov. Do not be distracted by that lively debate as it is irrelevant to the Halachik conclusion of the Oneg Yom Tov. Whatever the precise scenario, the abstract principle remains the same: the sugya in Pesachim seems to reject the possibility that it is the location of the owner (i.e. the Kohen) that determines the Issur Chametz. This shiur was delivered at the Keneses Yisrael Cong in Richmond, Va.
