Daf Yomi Berachot 30b, Part II, 31a, Part I, the critical requirement of כוונה in Tefilla; is the mention of Rosh Chodesh critical in Tefilla?; The requirements of a) beginning Tefilla with שבח; b) Waiting from one Tefilla to the next; c) to check oneself before davening to guarantee that one will have a clear mind enabling כוונה; d) the attitude of כובד ראש as a prerequisite for proper Tefillah. We begin the 5th Perek. The last part of our study today will address the theme of ריבוי שמחה and the balancing of גילה and רעדה.
