Daf Yomi Live Shabbos 95, a wide variety of Toldos and our attempt to understand their relationship to their respective Avos. We will learn about cheese making and sweeping the ground. Our main sugya today will be that of an עציץ, a flowerpot, one is perforated the other s closed, what is the status of the plant growing in the pot. Is the plant considered to be growing from the ground? This is relevant both to Shabbos, i.e. the Melacha of תלישה, and to Tumah - would the plant become susceptible to Tumah if it comes in contact with a liquid? We will see the five categories of breaks in utensils and how these breaks impact on the laws of Tumah.
