The controversy between Rebby Yehoshua & Raban Gamliel regarding the special chumra for Kehuna is related to the principle of "Ma'ale asu BiYuchsin". Rava establishes that according to Reby Yehoshua we apply this principle in the case of One Safek, namely, the case of Ra'uha Medaberes, but we are lenient in the case of 2 sefekos in the case of Almanas Isa. The chumra applies despite the lady's claim that she knows with certainty that the boel was a kasher. According to Raban Gamliel, the chumra of "Ma'ale asu BiYuchsin" applies whenever her claim is "shema", i.e. she doesn't know the status of the boel. If she has a taanas bari, i.e., she is certain that the boel was a kasher, she is believed and permitted to a kohen even in 1 safek
