Description

Based on the insights of HaRav Chaim Shmuelevitz, we will present a mussar shmooze for Parshat Shoftim. In Parshat Shftim the Torah commands the Jewish soldier to have complete faith in Divine protection and courageously rely on Hashem to guarantee success in battle. If overwhelmed by fear, the soldier must return home rather than demoralize the soldiers. One who lacks courage and faith has a negative impact upon his society.
