Third in the series of talks " What a Jew Believes - Practicing Faith in a Skeptical World. " How does Prayer fit into Jewish faith. If we believe G-d is Just, how can we tell Him what to do? Does a believing Jew believe that G-d always listens to our prayers? and why IS our prayer service always the same. why did the Sages choose fixed times and texts for prayer rather than spontaneity?
