Description

What lesson can we derive from the Mitzva of freeing one's Hebrew slave? Why was this mitzva singled out and given to Bnei Yisrael before the redemption from Mitzrayim? All other 612 mitzvot were given at Har Sinai and not earlier. And why was it necessary to enter into a special covenant with regard to this mitzva?
