Description

For Bava Kamma 48a-b we will continue our study of the laws that govern cases of those who enter into the yard of the owner & damage or are damaged. How is the law determined? Can the מכניס blame the yard owner for not watching his animal? Can he blame the animal itself for eating harmful food? Does the one who enters accept upon himself the obligation to protect the possessions of the owner? What if the enterer had permission to enter but understands that she will be left alone in the owner's property? What if one enters with his animal and the damage is caused by the animal's lying down on the ground? What if the animal enters & digs a pit? Is the yard owner responsible for the Bor? What if the animal contaminates the water when it falls?
