Rabbi Shmuel Aryeh Olishevsky (1879-1943) - Rabbi Olishevsky was born in Pruzhan, Poland. He received his semikhah from Rabbi Chaim HaLevi Brisker zt”l, Rabbi Zalman Sender zt”l, and Rabbi Eliyahu Feinstein zt”l. He taught at Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary for many years and enjoyed much influence among its students. Rabbi Olishevksy authored the two-volume work, Divrei Shmuel.
