After 4.5 months of war in Gaza and much contemplation about the "Achdut" (Unity) we are experiencing and how to preserve it, I was drawn to revisit a classic essay written by Rav Kook almost 120 years ago. He said some very revolutionary things back then, and I think they may contain the key to a brighter future for us today. In this video shiur, I share a few short excerpts from the essay, and explain why I think it's so relevant to us today, and how its messages can inspire positive change in our nation.
Learning on the Marcos and Adina Katz YUTorah site is sponsored today by the Goldberg and Mernick Families in loving memory of the yahrzeit of Illean K. Goldberg, Chaya Miriam bas Chanoch
