Description
The innovative class deals with proving that the main point of Rosh HaShana is accepting God as King, for on the 1st of Tishrei, man was created. Until that day, God was a "dictator", but only with the advent of Adam who has free-will, did God begin to be accepted as King. The class deals with why He prefers to be King, rather than a dictator, and this provides an innovative, explanation and meaning of the mitzvot of Kriyat Shema, the machloket whether there is a mitzvah of Emunah (belief) and that of loving God, in addition to why the climax of Malchuyot is the verse of Shema Yisrael, even though the term: Melech doesn't appear there. It's "more "malchuyot" than "malchuyot"!
