    1. Title: Beware at Buffets!
      Author: False == 1 ? Anonymous : Chaim Simons &##44;

      <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">In a wedding in Israel, a buffet is often held before the chupah, and depending on the grandiose of the buffet, all sorts of foods appear on the various tables. Some of them are fried p&acirc;t&eacute;s which could be filled with either vegetables or fish or meat. Without tasting them, one has no idea of the filling. When going around the tables, one can thus easily put onto one&rsquo;s plate both fish and meat p&acirc;t&eacute;s and start eating both of them almost simultaneously. So when in doubt, ask the waiters what the filling is!</span></span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: left; line-height: normal; margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;" align="left"><span style="color: black; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;">&nbsp;</span></span></p>

    2. Title: Gefillte Fish only on Shabbos
      Author: False == 1 ? Anonymous : Chaim Simons &##44;

      <p class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">When eating fish or meat on Shabbos, one must be careful not to remove the bones, since by doing this one would transgress the melochoh of borer. This is especially difficult with fish where there are numerous small bones. Therefore someone came along and invented &ldquo;gefilte fish&rdquo; which has become a Shabbos specialty.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>However maybe on Yomtov it is not such a specialty since on Yom Tov one may remove the bones from fish, and also from meat.</span></span></span></p>
