Description

Bereishit Rabbah 31:8 - the beginning of a series of midrashim about construction of the Teivah. A focus on cases in which HaShem tells someone, "עשה לך" "Build for yourself". The primary interest of our midrash is HaShem's instruction to Moshe to create a serpent for use in healing the Jews from their serpent bites, and Moshe's decision to make it of nechoshet.
