Description
Rabbi Mordechai Yoseph expresses his doubts with the method of the Kotzker, eventually splitting off at Simchas Torah and moving to Izhbitz. The Vorker still maintained a positive relationship both with Kotzk and Izhbitz. The friction between Kotzk and Izhbitz continued for three generations until reconciliation was made in the year 1900. The Izhbitzer's derech (path) is to not have one ironclad path, but to be flexible in serving Hashem. He shows us that every Jew is connected to every parsha (weekly portion) in the Torah.
