We will study the Mishna in Masechet Bava Kamma 59b: Shimon brought his grains into the private property of Reuvain. Is Shimon resonsible for damages he caused Reuvein? What about damages Reuvain causes Shimon? Does the Halacha change if Reuvain had invited Shimon to enter with his grain? Does this depend upon the debate between Rebby & Chachamim re; tacit acceptance of responsibility? We offer an introduction to the sugya of אש and study the Mishna of one who gave his fire to the young child, i.e to one who is not mature enough to be responsible for his actions. Does the creator of the fire pay for damages caused by the child? We will study the great debate between R' Yochanan & Reish Lakish in this regard.
