Description

How did later figures tell the story of early Christianity? How did they narrate the aftermath of Jesus' death? What goals did such later figures have in mind? In this class we will examine one school of thought among early followers of Jesus concerning how to conceive of Jews and gentiles: what role did these groups of people play in this formative period? What impact did all of this have upon the modern situation of Jews and Christians, in particular in the realm of Christian anti-Judaism?
