Description

We will begin our Torah study for the month of Tamuz with an introduction to the Three Weeks. We will compare and contrast Aveilut for a relative with Aveilut for Churban. To what extent are they the same, to what extent different? Is אבילות ישנה i.e. Aveilut for Churban, objective or subjective? We seek to understand the Mitzva of Simcha on Yom Tov and why that Mitzva cannot be reconciled with Aveilut.
