Description

Masechet Eruvin 41a, the issue of completing a fast on Shabbos or Yom Tov and thereby - perhaps - violating the prohibition of fasting on these days. We will address the issue of the status of a Rabbinic Yom Tov like the case of a יום קרבן. Can the latter tolerate fasting when the fast encroaches on this Rabbinic Yom Tov. We will discuss the final Psak Halacha regarding השלמת תענית. This will be relevant in our time when the tenth of Teves falls out on a Friday.
