Description
This shiur discusses the concept of davening with an especially firm tone. In Parshas Ki Tisa, we see that Moshe Rabeinu was not willing to accept “no” for an answer when defending Klal Yisrael. Similar tefillos are seen from Chanah, Eliyahu, and Choni Ha’me’agel. There seems to be a difference between “standard” tefillot and “extenuating circumstances.” Generally, it is inappropriate to approach Hashem with a brazen tone. Yet, it seems that there is a legitimate place for davening with “respectful chutzpah” in Halacha.
