Description

Moshe was the embodiment of Anava (Zera Kodesh). This is why he doesn't appear in Parshas Tetzaveh (Tiferes Shlomo), the Parsha of the bigdei kehuna which express external honor and internal humility (Rav Tzadok). Shaul Hamelech lost his kingship because he lacked true humility (Rebbe Nachman). The battle against amalek was a result of the gaiva of Am Yisrael and was won as a result of reconnecting to true humility (Rav Tzadok, Maor Vashemesh). Achashveirosh wore the bigdei kehuna to express gaiva, Mordechai wore them with humility. Haman was a byproduct of the gaiva of amalek and also the false humility of Shaul Hamelech and he was defeated by Mordechai who knew the secret of balancing azus dekedusha and true humility. The celebration of purim is the victory of the lottery of the kohein gadol which is predicated on true humility over the haughty lottery of Haman.
