He is medical director of the NYU Child Study Center, vice chair for clinical affairs for the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and assistant Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychiatry, and Pediatrics at the NYU School of Medicine. Dr. Hirsch has been recognized in NY magazine as one of the region’s Top Doctors and is listed in Castle Connolly’s Best Doctors in America database. Dr. Hirsch earned his MD from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He then completed an internship and residency in psychiatry at the Westchester Division of New York Hospital in White Plains and a fellowship in child psychiatry at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and New York State Psychiatric Institute.
