Masechet Zevachim & עניני קדשים: the great debate over לשמה in Kodshim. Two schools of thought regarding the requirement of מחשבת לשמה in Kodshim. The נפק"מ in the case of two מחשבות during a single עבודה. What is the status of a Shechita לשם חולין in the case of a korban חטאת and in other korbanot? If we need a positive לשמה it is clearly lacking; but if a negative כוונה invalidates the Korban, one can argue that לשם חולין is not a negative מחשבה הפוסלת. In this shiur we will study the proofs adduced by the Brisker Rav to establish that שלא לשמה in Kodshim is a מחשבה הפוסלת similar to a מחשבת פיגול.
